Wildlife Holidays in Namibia

Namibia, Africa and wildlife untamed

Namibia is an extraordinarily rich destination for a wildlife safari holiday.  Namibia is a country of contrasts, straddled between two deserts – the Namib, along its coastline and the Kalahari to the east.

Largely untouched and unspoiled by man, Namibia is larger in size than Britain and France together, yet with a population of just 1.8 million there are huge tracts of open space, enormous blue skies all year round, and hardly a soul to disturb the peace.

The extensive saltpans of Etosha, the desolate beauty of the Skeleton Coast, where 1,000 foot sand dunes are breathtaking to behold. Namibia today is a colourful combination of arid climate, African culture and towns heavily influenced by other countries, predominantly European, who governed prior to it achieving independence in the 1990’s.

All combine to provide an astonishing holiday destination, perfect for those wishing to see African wildlife untamed, and seeking a holiday with a difference.
