We are pleased to offer a 9 night unescorted trip to San Diego this
November for the 27th Thanksgiving Jazz Festival. Discerning Jazz fans
call this the “Crown Jewel of Jazz Festivals” and it is a favourite of
festival-goers from all over the world. All venues are conveniently
located in the Town and Country Convention Centre. There are large
concert rooms with double dance floors and small intimate “listening”
rooms. The Festival bands represent a wide variety of traditional jazz,
dixieland and swing styles offering something to suit every taste. The
band line up, so far, includes The Grand Dominion Jazz Band, Carl
“Sonny” Leyland, Night Blooming Jazzmen, Titanic Jazz Band, Jazzdagen
All-Stars, Cornet Chop Suey and The Blue Street Jazz Band with many more
to be announced.
This is our 7th trip to San Diego and once again we offering a 9
night unescorted trip to San Diego this November for the 27th
Thanksgiving Jazz Festival. Sunday 19th November
Depart the UK on a scheduled airline to San Diego via Houston. On
arrival you will be met and transferred to the Town & Country Resort,
where you will stay for the next 9 nights.
Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st November
Free to explore San Diego. Take a trip to
Seaport Village, the world famous San Diego Zoo or visit Tijuana - the
choices are endless. The Hotel concierge will be able to assist you with
day trips.
Wednesday 22nd November
Day at leisure. Jazz from 7:00 p.m to 11:00
p.m.
Thursday 23rd November
Day at leisure. Jazz from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00
p.m.
Friday 24th November
Jazz from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Saturday 25th November
Jazz from 09:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Sunday 26th November
Jazz from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the
wind down party from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Monday 27th November
Day to relax after the Festival.
Tuesday 28th November
Transfer from the Hotel to the airport in
time for the return flight via Houston to the UK.
Wednesday 29th November
Arrive UK. |
